Meet Our Board

Caroline Sullivan

Carolyn Sullivan is a retired French and English teacher.  She also worked as a circulation assistant at the Donelson library where she organized many events highlighting the Donelson community.  She has been a member of the Friends of Two Rivers Mansion since its formation in 2011 and served as the first Board secretary.  She is the current president of the Stones River Woman’s Club, an organization that has been involved with the preservation and restoration of the interior or Two Rivers Mansion since 1979.  Carolyn has done extensive research on the McGavock family and has co-authored a book on Dr. Clara Plimpton McGavock, the second wife of Frank McGavock and one of the first women doctors in Nashville.
