Meet Our Board

Virginia Bean

Virginia R. Bean currently serves as the President of the Stones River Woman’s Club (2021-2022).  She is a native Tennessean and attended Hendersonville High School before graduating from Vanderbilt University School of Engineering.  She is retired from the E. I. DuPont Company where she was a process engineer at three plant sites located in NC and SC before transferring to the Applied Statistics group at the Corporate Engineering offices in Wilmington, DE.  Virginia and her husband Ron retired to Mount Juliet, TN to be near family m.    In addition to the Stones River Woman’s Club, Mrs. Bean is also active in the Daughters of the American Revolution and several other lineage societies.  She enjoys historical and genealogical research, bridge, quilting, ballroom dance and travel.
